Canada's oldest UCI-sanctioned men's road stage race has been impacted by the pandemic for the third straight year. The Tour de Beauce was cancelled in 2020 and 2021, and has now announced that it has been postponed from its regular mid-June running to mid-September. This would have been the 35th edition.

Official release from the organization:

Due to the international "covid" protocols still in force in cycling as well as logistics and supply problems linked to the pandemic, the Tour de Beauce is obliged to postpone its 35th edition for a third time.

Regrettably, it has become obvious to the members of the Board of Directors that the event, which brings together cyclists from more than 20 countries at each edition, cannot be adequately prepared and cannot be held under the current conditions, on the dates initially planned (June 15th to 19th).

The organization is currently planning to hold the event from September 14th to 18th, the week following the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec and Montréal.

The organization of the Tour de Beauce also has on its agenda the Quebec Elite and Masters Road Championships on August 27th and 28th, La Voie Gravelée on September 3rd, the Quebec Gravel Championships on September 4th and the Gran Fondo Lac-Mégantic on September 25th.
